Japanese Federation of the Deaf will host a “Live Broadcast Viewing Event for the Opening Ceremony of Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics”, to enable more people to view the Opening Ceremony of Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics, for scheduled for November 15, 2025, (Note: This is an event organized solely by the Japanese Federation of the Deaf, not by Organising bodies (Organising Committee of 2025 Summer Deaflympics and Tokyo Metropolitan Government). On the day of the event, we will broadcast the Opening Ceremony live along with reports and introductions of activities such as the nationwide caravan. If you missed out on tickets to attend the Opening Ceremony, are interested in the Deaflympics, or want to enjoy the excitement with friends, please join us.

Capacity: Approximately 780 seats (wheelchair seats available)
*If capacity is exceeded, admission will be determined by lottery

Part 1 16:00-16:30
– Greetings from the organizers
– Report on the Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics
– Report on national caravan activities
– Screening of promotional video for the Games
Part 2 16:30-19:00
– Viewing of the opening ceremony of the Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics
* Promotional panels for the Games and manga panels supporting deaf sports will be on display in the foyer of the venue
* International Sign interpretation will be provided on the day.

How to apply: Please apply using the Google form.
*Up to 4 people (including caregivers) can register per group.
*Applications on the day will not be accepted.
*Applications by phone or postcard will not be accepted.
Application period: Wednesday, October 1st to Wednesday, October 22nd
The lottery results will be announced sequentially after Thursday, October 30th.
