| イタリアろう協会（ＥＮＳ−ＯＮＬＵＳ） 国際部 イレーネ・トグネーラ 2005年6月28日報道発表 イタリア手話の承認を促進するための登山 イタリア手話（LIS）の承認に関する736/2001法案の提案者であるイタリアのロベルト・サレルノ国会議員は、2005年7月3日、イタリア国会736法案の早期採択に対する社会的ムードを高めるために、友人であるろうのスポーツ愛好家エンゾー・セッカ氏と共に、ある冒険に挑戦する。 サレルノ議員とセッカ氏は、"モンテ・ローザ"に登り、イタリア手話のシンボルとイタリア国旗の三色を用いた旗を掲げる予定である。 2005年6月30日正午、イタリア国会の近くにあるボローニャホテルにおいて記者会見を開き、記者に対して、今回の挑戦について説明する。 記者会見への出席予定者は以下の通り：

| 記者発表 2005年7月4日の早朝に、ろうのアスリートであり、イタリア国会議員でもあるサレルノ氏は、山岳ガイドとともに、標高4250メートルのモンテローザの登頂に成功した。イタリア手話を国の言語として認める法案の採択を求めて、山頂にイタリア手話の旗を掲げた。更に、新しいイタリアろうスポーツ協会〔ＦＳＳＩ〕の旗も掲げた。ふもとでは、300人以上のろう者が、この嬉しい、歴史的なイベントを見守った。 イタリアろう協会会長 アイダ・コリュ |

| Italian Association of the Deaf (ENS - ONLUS) Foreign Affair Office Irene Tognella Press Release, 28 June 2005 A mountain climb for promoting the recognition of the Italian Sign Language On Sunday 3 July 2005 Mr Roberto Salerno, Senator of the Italian Republic, who presented the Bill n. 736/2001 on the recognition of the Italian Sign Language (LIS), will undertake a sportive adventure with his good friend Enzo CECCA, a deaf athlete, aimed to sensitize and promote the quick adoption by the Italian Parliament of the Bill 736. Mr Salerno and Mr Cecca will climb together the "Monte Rosa" and will hoist the flag with the symbol of the LIS and the three-colour Italian flag. On 30 June 2005, 12h.00, at the Hotel Bologna, near the Italian Senate, will take place a press conference to inform and present the sportive adventure to the journalists. | News: Today 4th of July 2005, at dawn, deaf athlete Enzo Cecca and the Italian Republic Senator Mr. Salerno, were able to rise the Lis flag on the top of the Monte Rosa, 4250 meters high, in order to speed up the approval of Italian Sign Language recognition law. They also raised the FSSI (the new Italian Federation of Deaf Sport) flag. A happy and historical event dedicated to all Italian Deaf people! There were over than 300 Deaf people!
